Cross-country skiing

Elegant gliding in the classic style or dynamic-sporty in the skating style - on the cross-country trails around San Vigilio di Marebbe you can give free rein to your preferred style.

From San Vigilio di Marebbe a number of circular trails lead into the romantically snow-covered Rautal valley. At the end of the Rautal valley is the Berggasthof Pederü (tel. 0474 501086), ideal for a midday rest or an afternoon break. The use of the 24 kilometres of cross-country ski trails is free of charge.

A special tip for connoisseurs is the high-altitude cross-country ski trail on the 2,000-metre-high Würzjoch, about 18 km from San Vigilio di Marebbe. The 6.5 km long circuit at the foot of the Peitlerkofel opens up a mountain backdrop that is second to none.
